Crafting is a way by which players create items in Rend. As a player crafts items, more advanced recipes become available. Mastering a specific armor recipe, for example, unlocks the next grade of armor in its class. Players can also craft tools which grant access to new types of Materials needed for higher tier recipes.
Crafting begins with gathering raw materials, the simplest of which can be acquired by hand:
From these, players can start crafting items and tools in the Basic Survival crafting tree.
Each resource node has a secondary material when right clicked with tools.
The resources can be grouped into four tiers based on what zone they are primarily located in
